Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the counselling relationship. Being able to share your stories and personal experience in this secure way is ensured with a Jane online session. Online sessions are conducted through JaneVideo a secure, end to end encrypted telemedicine platform.

 

Jane Video is trusted by many mental health and medical professionals in Canada for safe and effective face to face conversations.

Once you've booked a time for your session, I will email you a confirmation

with all the details to start the Videoconference call. I will also email you a link to a short intake with some informed consents to sign then we will be ready to begin. 

JaneVideo is very easy to use as it is just a simple link that you click on prior to our session. You will receive your link about 30mins before your session starts.

Once you click the link, it will take you to my virtual waiting room where you can sign in. If prompted, be sure to give camera and audio permissions.

Sessions are conducted via a secure video platform called JaneVideo. It is very easy to use as you just click a link that will be provided to you and it will take you right to my online waiting room. We’ll work together to explore your challenges, set goals, and build practical tools for healing and growth—all while you remain in your own comfortable, private space.

How do I get started with online counselling?

You can book online using the links to my online calendar or you contact me through the contact form to arrange your first session and we can go from there. Usually we begin with a 45min session but longer sessions are available as well. I also offer a free 15-minute meet and greet session to discuss your needs and see if working together feels like a good fit.
