My Approach

When deciding to seek therapy, it is important to choose a therapist that best fits for you.  As human beings, we are relational and we heal in relationship that are nurturing and empathic. This is why it is important that your therapist is compassionate and understanding of your struggle as well as knowledgable and equipt with real tools for growth and healing. It is important to choose a therapist that is able to walk alongside you on your journey to wellness. No one deserves to go it alone.

It is that such therapist that I strive to be for you. My approach is relational and integrative which means I will foster a therapeutic alliance with you that is the basis for your transformation. It is my wish to listen so you feel heard, attend to your distress so you can feel safe and understood, talk with you and help you to understand the ins and outs of your struggle so it can be reduced and feel more manageable for you. I will not judge you but give you compassion and acceptance so you can transform out of pain and struggle into a more free and happy way of being with yourself, rather than be stuck in painful cycles of guilt, shame and self-loathing.

Through this process you will begin to see yourself through a new lens, feel more confident and alive and better able to navigate work and relationships. As human beings we need people and we are not meant to be isolated. I aim to make you feel welcome and accepted throughout this journey because you deserve to have someone on your side.

For over 15 years, I have committed myself to the training and practice of Integrative Psychotherapy because of my commitment for helping my clients reclaim their birthright of joy, wellbeing and living authentically. I help my clients remove the veils of conditioning, trauma and the effects of negative life experiences that are hindering their ability to feel safe, confident and present in the world and within relationships. I pride myself on being a reflexive, ethical practitioner and am committed to my ongoing personal and professional development.
